Disney World is awesome.
It's really awesome.
I mean..it's just awesome.
Not awesome, but AWESOME.

Kalo ada yg bilang kampung, saya akui sangat kampung. Really, Disney World just amazed me. Everything there is just amazing for me. Alhamdulliah sekali saya diberi kesempatan buat bisa ke sana.

Tidak semua anak exchange bisa kesana. Beberapa konsorsium mengadakan kompetisi untuk anak2 exchange pergi kesana, beberapa host family ada yg mau mengajak anak exchange nya buat pergi kesana, yang lain? ya tidak. Saya sendiri dapat the best konsorsium ever: AYA (Academic Year in America). mereka mengadakan mid- orientation di Disney. Anak exchange dari Indonesia di AYA cuma ada 6, lha kok salah satunya saya. ya ampun, kurang beruntung apa lagi coba?

# 1st Day

We went to Disney by train, early in the morning: 3.00 am
Some of us got to sleep before going to the train station, I didn't.
We were all sleepy in the station, here is a picture of me and my family

We went to Disney with all of our host families. But we stayed in different hotels because we will have mid-orientation with all of AYA students.
I didn't feel good when we are about to go. I feel kinda sick, but that could not take away my excitement.
We got into the train that morning, and everybody was sleeping, including me. I share seat with Shareen, my filipino girl.

 She is so cute, and crazy sometimes. I love Shareen! :)

We woke up at about 8. I was about to say something when suddenly..I feel something wrong with my voice, couldn't talk. Then I realized that I lost my voice. oh Gosh! I lost my voice! I lost my voice in Disney, I was like, for real????
I remember when I was in 11th grade in my Indonesian high school. This once happened to me. I lost my voice, and my friends were like "Don't talk, save your voice Cha!"
this happened again. I don't know why it must be in the time when I go to Disney. The time I really need my voice to scream, to sing and dance, and to do presentation. Oh my God..

All of us, the exchange students in South Carolina group will do presentation in front of all AYA LCs. And we, 4 Indonesian girls in the group (me, Mae, Lia, and Ekky) will do saman dance and Indonesian medley songs. And I'm the one that will sing for saman cause I know the song. How can I do all of these..?
I don't know, don't have any idea. My friends don't know either.
All they can do is make me to be quiet, not to talk at all. Cause that's the only way I can save my voice. The thing is, we will do these that night. The first night when we got to Florida. And another thing is, it doesn't work. Lia even said, "Annisa, Shut up!" cause I keep talking. But again, it doens't work. If you know me well, you will have known the reason. It's difficult for me to be quiet, I can't help not to talk.

So, that's it. The night we do presentation, I haven't get my voice back. We share about our experiences being an exchange student in front of all AYA LCs After that we sing a song that we picked, but change the lyrics based on our experience. It was 'Party in the USA' and we change into 'Party with AYA'.
I talk with that bad-kind-of-voice, you know what I mean. And also, sing and dance saman with that voice, oh God! I feel bad for my friends, we couldn't do that good because of me. But I can promise I did my best, I really did.
And it worth, everybody gave a loud applause. We were so glad they liked our little Indonesian performance. They said they so love our dance, and of curse, the Party with AYA song. They said they might like to make it as AYA theme song. Wow, how great! :)
