Sebenarnya saya bingung ini mau buat postnya pake Bahasa atau English, soalnya mau ngomongin mba Mayang. Tapi pake dua2nya dia juga bakal ngerti, apa pake Basa Jawa aja ya? si cewek Makassar ini pasti ga mudheng *nyengir XD

Tapi kalo pake Jawa kok kayanya rasis banget ya. Yauda la pake Bahasa aja, biarin kalo dia baca, biar tau bagaimana perasaanku! *cling
apasih --/

Sebut saja negara A.
Maksudnya, saling menipu gitu. Nyari temen buat ngerasain gmna sensasinya, ga terima ngerasain sendirian.
yah..kalimat2 penghasut standar gitu deh, tapi manjur lho. Beberapa sukses terjebak, hihihi *senyumevil

Capek ah ngerjain orang, kayanya smua juga udah tau deh perkara minuman dari negara A itu, cepet banget nyebarnya, terkenal gitu.haha
Terus ak tertarik buat nyobain dari tiap negara. Tapi kan itu banyak ya, ada 8 negara. Ga muatlah ni perut kalo smua nyobain segelas2. Lagian sebelum kesitu aku udah minum juga jadi ga haus. Karna saya tuh orangnya ga suka memubazirkan sesuatu -halah. Jadilah saya nyruput dikit2 dari punya temen. Nyobain gitu, seteguk2.

Mae: eh chak *bawa2 gelas
saya: Mae, itu rasa apa? China bukan? pengen nyobain nih
Mae: Belum nyoba yg China ya cha?
saya: Belum, mkanya ini ak baru nyari. Udah full ga muat lagi kalo ambil gelas sendiri. Udah nyoba ya?
Mae: Yah...gimana sih Cha. Ak udah nyoba, gila enak banget.
Saya: Hah beneran?
Mae: Iya, dijamin deh. Lidah kita kan ga jauh2 beda. Yakin pasti suka.
Saya: eeeh.mau nyobain dong..

. . . tunggu, kok rasanya berubah? lama2 jadi pait? aih paiit. paiit bangeeet >< uuhuk! ini yang tadi aku minum, bukan China. INI MINUMAN NEGARA A YANG TADI!!! ARRGGHH!!! MAAYAAAAANG!!!?&(*%#^?!!
Mayaaanggg awas dirimu!!! -_____-

Saya ngambek.
Mae: Cha

Mae: Ichaaak!
saya: -__-
Mae: eh! gimana itu rasanya, hee?? *senyumlebar
saya: -__-
Mae: *ambil kamera, take picture
loh.. (?)

Dan....ini hasil jepretannya Mae
ekspresi menahan sensasi
Gila muka saya --"
Itu bando pink nya si Mickey jadi keliatan annoying banget deh. Aduh jelek banget muka sayaaa...

Thanks to Mae yg sudah membuat foto itu. Not only took the picture but also made my expression.
Suatu hari saya akan membalas jasa anda :)
*eaaaa. hayo lo mae!
hahahha....

I love her anyway :D
Last week I attended mid-orientation for my exchange program at Disney. I got a lot of new friends from all over the world. It was nice to meet them, sharing about how is our exchange year going. Proud and impressed by their experiences.

So there I was, on the first day of the orientation. The day that another AYA students just arrived from their placements. The time that we all meet for the first: Dinner. I was sitting with my Indonesian friends, Eric and Shaqina. They are another AYA exchange students in different states. Lia, Mae, and Ekky? of course yes! We always be together anyway --"
We, 6 Indonesian exchange kids were sitting in the same table, enjoying our food and -of course- talking. We still got some empty chairs in our table, and one by one another exchange student come and join our table. One of them was a boy from a country in Africa. Let's call him Jay (for J). My first impression wasn't special at all. We start to talk, and talk more in a group.

He is a nice guy -just like other exchange students.

One time during the orientation my friend tell me a story about him. A sad story. That means nothing for me but tell that he is rreally humble.

I start to look him as a different person. Not that kind-of-special-feelings, just different.

This was our second day at mid-orientation and we went to Magic Kingdom, one of the parks in Disney. I went with my Indonesian friends in a group, having so much fun. Shortly, it comes the time for Dinner. We went to one of the restaurants, pick a table, and went to get the food. We were waiting in the line to order when he came and wait also in the same line, next to us. We said Hi and asked whom he came with. He said he came himself. We asked where his friends were and find out that he was going in the park himself. The others already went theirselves and thus he didn't get any friends to go with.

I don't know why but I felt kinda mad that time to know that we are not aware enough with our friends that even none of us know if one of our friends had to go himself because no one comes with him.

We had dinner with him, and we also walk together after that. We take lots of pictures with the Cinderella Castle as the background. It was so beautiful, the castle looks so fancy with the light that changes its color after a certain time.

And it comes the time for the firework show in front of the castle. Everybody was busy with their cameras, taking pictures and videos, including me. I record the firework show. But suddenly my camera run out of battery. Well, dang! I didn't bring my other batteries. I left them in the hotel. Arrrgh! --"
I really want to have the video of this. This is soo beautiful, just amazing.
I don't tell anybody cause I know they were also busy, the others that don't got cameras also concentrated to look the castle, feeling the beauty of the show -I guess. That's why I don't want to disturb them. But Jay, he asked me what's wrong. When I told him about my batteries, he look into his bag, looking for another batteries and gave me his batteries. I was like, for real..?
I mean..in this crowd, when most of people don't want to be disturbed -including me, if I was one of those people-, he want to know what's wrong. And again, if I were him I'm not even sure to give my batteries since we still have another park to visit in the next day, and I know those were his last batteries. What a really nice thing he just did!

From that now on, I know that he is a really good friend of mine. I pick a little key chain to give him when I went shopping. I intended to give it to him when we gather for dinner, but I have another thing to do with my group that I wasn't able to see him. The next day I was in the hotel when I went downstairs to have breakfast. I couldn't find him.
I just realized that yesterday was the last day of the orientation and the students start to leave.
He left with his group already, going back to his state, his placement.

It means yesterday was my last time to meet him. I know that that might be the last time like, forever. I alredy got the schedule when to go back to Indonesia and have re-orientation before leaving. His country is not the same batch with mine so I know that I won't meet him in the re-orientation.

I'm glad to have him as my new friend. And if someday we will meet again in whatever event, I hope we can still recognize each other.
He is a really nice person, he really is :)

*anyway, I still have his key chain in my bag..
Disney World is awesome.
It's really awesome.
I mean..it's just awesome.
Not awesome, but AWESOME.

Kalo ada yg bilang kampung, saya akui sangat kampung. Really, Disney World just amazed me. Everything there is just amazing for me.

Saya sendiri dapat the best konsorsium ever: AYA (Academic Year in America). mereka mengadakan mid- orientation di Disney.

# 1st Day

We went to Disney by train, early in the morning: 3.00 am
Some of us got to sleep before going to the train station, I didn't.
We were all sleepy in the station, here is a picture of me and my family
Baylee, me, Kayla, Skyler, Dad, and Mom

We went to Disney with all of our host families. But we stayed in different hotels because we will have mid-orientation with all of AYA students.
I didn't feel good when we are about to go. I feel kinda sick, but that could not take away my excitement.
We got into the train that morning, and everybody was sleeping, including me. I share seat with Shareen, my filipino girl.

She is so cute, and crazy sometimes. I love Shareen! :)

We woke up at about 8. I was about to say something when suddenly..I feel something wrong with my voice, couldn't talk. Then I realized that I lost my voice. oh Gosh! I lost my voice! I lost my voice in Disney, I was like, for real????
I remember when I was in 11th grade in my Indonesian high school. This once happened to me. I lost my voice, and my friends were like "Don't talk, save your voice Cha!"
this happened again. I don't know why it must be in the time when I go to Disney. The time I really need my voice to scream, to sing and dance, and to do presentation. Oh my God..

All of us, the exchange students in South Carolina group will do presentation in front of all AYA LCs. And we, 4 Indonesian girls in the group (me, Mae, Lia, and Ekky) will do saman dance and Indonesian medley songs. And I'm the one that will sing for saman cause I know the song. How can I do all of these..?
I don't know, don't have any idea. My friends don't know either.
All they can do is make me to be quiet, not to talk at all. Cause that's the only way I can save my voice. The thing is, we will do these that night. The first night when we got to Florida. And another thing is, it doesn't work. Lia even said, "Annisa, Shut up!" cause I keep talking. But again, it doens't work. If you know me well, you will have known the reason. It's difficult for me to be quiet, I can't help not to talk.

So, that's it. The night we do presentation, I haven't get my voice back. We share about our experiences being an exchange student in front of all AYA LCs After that we sing a song that we picked, but change the lyrics based on our experience. It was 'Party in the USA' and we change into 'Party with AYA'.
I talk with that bad-kind-of-voice, you know what I mean. And also, sing and dance saman with that voice, oh God! I feel bad for my friends, we couldn't do that good because of me. But I can promise I did my best, I really did.
And it worth, everybody gave a loud applause. We were so glad they liked our little Indonesian performance. They said they so love our dance, and of curse, the Party with AYA song. They said they might like to make it as AYA theme song. Wow, how great! :)
me and my girls after doing presentation
