Writing them with tears falling, as I can feel sincerity and honesty in every word I wrote. It was my boss in all sudden asking me, Icha what is your career aspiration and motivation?
So in the middle of works, tight targets, meetings, unfinished report here and there, I was surprised myself to have those words coming out from my heart.
Here I posted them, as a reminder for my future self. When life feels hard, when life feels confusing, I hope these words would give you a little comfort.
"My career aspiration is self actualization & self development. Working has shaped me to be a responsible person and have a growth mindset. Problems at work has broaden yet sharpen my view over things and develop skills to easily bounce back, also sets my ability to focus on solving the problem rather than blaming the trouble maker. These skills and knowledge are assets for me to live a better life, to be a better version of myself. I'm not a person who aspire to become the CEO, nor the highest level of career. For me working is a helping tools to achieve my purpose in life, through whatever career path I'm walking in.
I'm longing to work at a place which its purpose are what I value in life. A place where I can grow and develop as what I aspire. A place where I can find inspiring leaders. A place where I can give my work to help make an impact."
